How Do I Start Getting Healthy?

Here’s how to start (even if you don’t feel ready yet)

Ever felt like you want to make a change, but don’t even know where to begin?
Eat healthier. Get more fit. Have more energy. Feel less stressed out.
You see friends or co-workers doing the work and looking and feeling better than they have in years.
Instagram tells you all you have to do is eliminate gluten / do 15 jumping jacks every 15 minutes / do this 3 day detox / follow this 5 step blah blah blah.
You know you need to do something… but what?
Sounds easy enough…But the how? That’s where most people get stuck.
If that’s where you are right now, here’s what I want you to hear:
👉 You don’t need a fully fleshed out plan to get started.
You just need to start doing…something.
Maybe it’s…
Swapping cereal for a protein-packed breakfast
Taking a 10-minute walk after dinner
Drinking water before that second coffee
Prepping lunch the night before
It doesn’t have to be perfect.It just has to be something you like doing enough to do again.

Here’s a personal example. 🏊🏻♂️
When I wanted to quit smoking, I knew I needed something else to focus on.Something that would challenge me physically and mentally.
So I picked swimming.
I found the closest pool that opened early. Bought a solid pair of goggles.And started waking up at 5am to swim laps.
I wasn’t good. I got winded after a few lengths and had to rest.But I showed up. Again and again.
And over time, I got stronger. My lungs got healthier. My cravings got easier to manage.
That habit changed my life.
If I had waited for the perfect moment—or a less crowded pool—I’d probably still be waiting.
So how do you get started?
What’s one thing you can do this week to move your body or fuel it better?
Pick something simple. Something repeatable.Then build from there.
Then the question becomes, how do I keep going?
